Confluence Osteopathy

Beccy has been working in hands-on healthcare since 2007, and in that time she has developed a clinical style that is hard to put in a box. Trained in Massage Therapy and Neurofunctional Medical Acupuncture before completing her osteopathic training at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, she brings nearly two decades of varied experience to every treatment. More than that though, she brings genuine curiosity and a deep need to understand not just what works, but why, drawing from osteopathic principles, current research, and the full breadth of her clinical experience to make sense of what she finds.

Beccy doesn’t work from protocols. She works from principles, applying critical thinking and an open, evidence informed curiosity to craft treatment that is specific to the person in front of her. She believes that good clinical reasoning means drinking from every available source, not a single curated pool, and that the best practitioners are the ones who never stop questioning, learning, and refining how they think. Because people are not conditions, and there is no single right technique, only the right approach for this person, on this day.

At the core of how she works is a simple belief: the body already knows how to heal, and her job is to help remove what is getting in the way. People who see Beccy tend to describe her as knowledgeable and capable, but also real, empathetic, and genuinely present. She cares about the whole person, and wants every patient to leave feeling not just better, but curious about and connected to the remarkable body they live in.
